Do you get a particular satisfaction knowing that you are a voice for the disenfranchised and the working proletariat? Do you feel like you should be held in high esteem for your intellect?

I kinda do. I love being the kid who reads all the radical literature and explains things in a very nuanced and revolutionary way.

So basically, you're saying you enjoy the rebel chic?

I do enjoy activism, but I mostly do it because I think that it's important that people fight for better living standards, and I want to educate people about my ideas. Is this some kind of troll post?

I don't particularly overflow with self-satisfaction when explaining radical literature. But it does feel good to be on the side of the workers. At least I feel like I have a purpose and a goal, instead of just wandering around with a blank mindset.

Oh yeah.
And I'd add, it feels good to be on my own side as well :D
Basically, I view radical politics and activism as a means of achieving (or trying to achieve) personal freedom as well.

Sastisfying? It frustrates the hell out of me. While being 'the voice of the proletariat' I shouldn't in the extreme minority, and I shouldn't have to explain away the same misconceptions for the millionth time only to no doubt be dismissed as brainwashed. No satisfaction comes from that.

Not really. I don't even view myself like that exactly...

On the last part, No...although I would like to be held in high esteem just because.

I don't have much of this...fervor I guess it's called.
