Oregon political movement adopts a 4chan slogan.

There are reasons why sites such as Google (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=we+are+anonymous) exist. This is, undeniably, one of those reasons. I’m going to do my best to avoid politics here, because it doesn’t really matter. What matters is that this is funny, now matter how you look at it.
A Tea Party group in Oregon has started using a slogan that was coined by the group Anonymous (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anonymous_%28group%29), which is widely associated with online message board 4chan:

The image is of a bumper sticker that was reportedly being used by the Portland Tea Party group, based in Oregon (http://www.teapartypatriots.org/State/Oregon). The group, as of now, has been removed from the Tea Party Patriots (http://www.teapartypatriots.org/) website.
However, the bumper sticker is not the scariest use of the slogan. Apparently, it has been picked up by a group of moms, as well:

Oh yes…just in case you’re doubting the validity of the first image:

anon is gonna go at this like a corpse.
All I see with these guys is a bunch of people who never felt economic hardship, and if they did, then you better prepare yourself for a "rags to richs" story about how anyone, even these stupid fuks, can make it in capitalism, if you work hard!

Dude, no offense, but where the fuck are these rules you keep referring to? You're starting to sound like this woman I waited tables with once who was all up into this self-help (a term which I hate, btw; to quote George Carlin loosely, "There's really no such thing as self-help. If you were helping yourself, you wouldn't need a book. So if you're reading a book designed to give you advice, that's just help.") book called The Art of Possibility. She used to walk around all day shouting, "Rule number six!"

"We are Legion" : Isn't that a Satanic thing in the bible? Ironic that Tea Partiers would use Satanist theological expressions...

Tea Party Christians are probably too ignorant to realize

"We do not forgive." =/= "Forgive us our trespasses."

Although honestly the USA is so fucked up that satanists and teabaggers being intersecting demographics wouldn't really surprise me at all.

Please don't use those words here. I know they're typical 4chan lingo, but they're a no-no here on RevLeft.

You see that "Question with boldness" Jefferson quote at the beginning of the Beck/Palin video (http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2010/01/watching-beck-and-palin.html)? Here's Jefferson's full remark: "Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear."
That's right. In a video in which he claims that God founded America, Glenn Beck references a quote in which our most important Founding Father stood tall and proud for agnosticism, and against the politics of fear.
Awesome.
