This issue ---that the environment is part of the class struggle---is entirely lost on the part of petite bourgeois scientists. Pollution is caused by the ruling class bourgeoisie who conspired to give us a car culture by eliminating cleaner electric street cars and laying the foundation for automobiles, tires and oil etc. And I will not even go into industrial pollution which is contaminating our precious lakes, rivers, and streams.
