View Full Version : Where do I stand?

It's been something which has had my brain rattling for quite a while now. I currently view myself as a Libertarian Communist, but I'm honestly not sure where abouts I belong or who I should belong to. I don't relate to a party per se, although I do favour a couple (CPGB - Communist Party of Great Britain; Socialist Party UK).
I have great libertarian values which I like to think help the working class, or would do. Also, and quite obviously, I'm a strong believer in communism, so the two go together quite well.
Can anyone try and point me in a certain direction or try and pin-point my political position?

For starters, could you elaborate and expand on these libertarian values?

It all comes down to how you want the economy organized. Generally libertarian communists are left-communists, usually council communists or anarcho-communists.

If you believe in a system of complete workers democracy, what is the point having "Libertarian" at the beginning?
