Anybody got the hook up for some radical texts dealing with the civil war other than "A People's History"? Especially by Marx? Mostly interested in a radical analysis/radical history of the civil war, but am also looking for some texts by radical abolitionists.

I know Comrade Lause personally. He's a great guy and revolutionary, and was once a member of the SWP. Great historian and socialist, and realy shows the revolutionary character of the conflict in the Civil War.

Awesome! Thank you both very much, ARA that is actually even more than what I was hoping for. I used to be into civil war re-enacting when I was young and am considering starting again, but attempting to assemble a unit that portrays the Jayhawkers and redlegs, abolitionist/unionist irregulars from the western theater!
