I hardly think that it's a coincidence that it's also the happiest state in the U.S.

They rank fifth in national obesity and spend a mere 29 minutes out of the day "relaxing and thinking." This is hardly something to prop up and applaud. The sleep is fine because sleep is necessary and contributes to better health - but 3+ hours watching TV?

Too much gumbo.

That's a strange statistic.

I think it's prop-up-worthy merely in regards to a "work to live" mentality (in contrast to the "live to work" mentality that pervades a good deal of our national culture, although not as much as some other nations, namely Japan.)

How about a live to live mentality?
All you need is a tarp a pack and a freight train. (And lots of bananas)

I Like Bananas. Bananas are good.
Anyways, apparently FL is also one of the happiest states. This state sucks. Its easy to be fat and happy if you don't give a shit about anything. Like retirees.........

Yeah it does. Especially Miami, one of the worst cities I've had the misfortune to spend time in.

Are there a bunch of guidos on Miami beach? Or are they importing the guidos?

I did you live here during one of our 3 week winters or something? Or live on the beach? Cause that is the only way I can imagine anyone would enjoy FL.

I hear they are flying them in from the original Jersey Shore location - Jersey Shore.

The guidos are coming to Miami simply because of the show Jersey Shore going to take place in Miami.

No surprise that all of the top ten are in the South. I'm surprised at the lower ranking of Florida, but the Southeast does skew the results. Jacksonville was fuckin' lazy.
