I've just signed my players for this season with the Citizen Sports EPL Fantasy app on FB. Wanted to see A) what others thought of my side and B) if anyone was interested in starting a league/pool of Revlefters.

My squad: Starters: GK Brad Friedel; Def Thomas Vermaelen, Ashley Cole, Patrice Evra, and Leighton Baines; Mid Matthew Taylor, Matthew Etherington, and Florent Malouda; For Steven Fletcher, Jermain Defoe, and Darren Bent (c)

Substitutes: GK Paul Robinson, Def Jody Craddock, Mid Radoslav Kovac, Mid Rory Delap

There aren't any prizes for winning but there aren't any fees either. At any rate, if there's enough interest in starting a friendly competition from the good folks around here I'll start us a league.

Might have a harder time with it this time round. Last season there were about 960,000 participants by the time the season was over. I finished somewhere around 8.5k, but that was high enough to put me in the top 1% so I was pleased enough. Switched Delap for Charlie Adam, Friedel for Tim Howard and Fletcher for Jermaine Beckford, btw. Still not sure what to do with my midfield, though. I know it's weak apart from Malouda and the one place I could scale back is in defense, but I really can't bear to part with any of those guys. If last season taught me anything it was that the only thing you can really count on to score you points week in and week out is defense.

Well the last one I did had 12 people in it, just school friends, not all of FB:lol:. I can't remember most of my team but it was full of Man Utd, Man City and Arsenal players.

What I do remember is not to take a keeper from a big team with good out-field players, I got next to nothing for my keeper (Shay Given), next time I think I'll take Craig Gordon but I don't know how long he is out for. When my keeper scored he scored big but that only happened once every blue moon.
