"Marxism: a graphic guide"
"Anarchism a short introduction"
I wont suggest the "classics" becuase they're boring as hell and reading contemporary versions of them, like the above, is far more engaging.

I found Dynamics of Social Change: A Reader in Marxist Social Science (Goldway et al) to be an invaluable introduction to Marxism
