Please do NOT emphasize this adverb. I see this behavior a lot (more and more lately) and it sickens me.
It is patronizing. What, do people think we can't read? Do you think that unless you make a big fuss about it, nobody would notice what you are saying, and in fact that we are inclined to do the exact opposite, save for your saintly intervention? To hell with this. Henceforth this is the last time I am ever, ever needlessly drawing attention to that word.
