What stew of all the famous action heroes. Its added to my "must see" list.

My objection is it seems too artificial. Die Hard or Terminator 2 were genuine phenomena, they were unique. This is a project of filmmakers playing Frankenstein trying to build the ultimate genre picture. Also, the cast seems so unwieldy. Given by the anemic state of American cinema over the last decade I'm not optimistic, however, only time will tell.

agreed, it feels like an over self consious attempt at making cult instead of the real spontanious thing. Bit like all those "lesbian vampire killers" kind of movies coming out.
rodriguez's "machete" on the other hand i have good hopes for.
