"Roid rage" - a term given to people who act in very aggressive or hostile manner after taking large doses, usually on a regular basis, of anabolic steroids. After watching that documentary "bigger, stronger, faster", numerous medical, legal and athletic professionals criticize roid rage and dismiss it, which at face value seems quite convincing.

Now on the other hand, many other people in the medical profession strongly believe its responsible for many murders and adverse effects on the human mind driving people to depression and manic conditions.

Thoughts?

I think it's real.

Like most situations involving medicine of one type or another it affects people differently.

I've known people that have taken steroids and there's little or no change- I've also known people that have taken steroids and the change in each one of them was very similar- depression- 'rage'- manic behavior.

External circumstances in their lives probably play a huge role in how they react to steroids.

No no... Musicians are all skinny but death metallers are among the skinniest. They're on a strict diet, they consume but the blood of satan and famous pop idols.
