Comrade Majdalawi: Shameful PA meetings with occupation officials must end

Comrade Jamil Majdalawi, member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, demanded that Palestinian Authority President Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas) end the shameful meetings with officials of the occupation state, including Yoav Mordechi, Avi Mirahi and Yuval Diskin, who have been received by Palestinian officials in Ramallah and Jenin.

Comrade Majdalawi's press statement on July 17, 2010, demand an end to such "nonsense" including the "meetings of disgrace," emphasizing that the serve only the interests of the enemy, its war criminal leaders who continue their crimes and aggression against our people. He said that it is a disgrace that Palestinian Authority officials continue to receive Zionist war criminals such as these, while people around the world demand their prosecution before international tribunals for war crimes. He explicitly condemned any participation in such meetings and any acceptance of them, saying that they are a complete affront to the Palestinian people. The Front also noted that security cooperation with the occupation and tolerance of such meetings enabled the imprisonment of the PFLP Secretary General Comrade Ahmad Sa'adat, noting that the PA bears responsibility today for his life inside the jails of the occupier.

Furthermore, Comrade Jamil Mezher, member of the Central Committee of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, denounced U.S. intervention in the internal Palestinian front, aimed at disrupting reconciliation and preventing the elimination of internal division. In an interview with the "Voice of the People" radio station, Comrade Mizher emphasized that no one should rely on U.S. positions, emphasizing that the U.S. is in complete alliance with the occupation.

He emphasized that our people must instead rely on resistance and Palestinian constants and national rights. He called for a complete break with the legacy of Oslo, emphasizing the need for international action to implement international resolutions, particularly UN Resolution 194, and ensuring the right of return for all Palestinian refugees to their original homes and lands from which they were displaced.
