So, I've read a lot of great things about this man, but here the other day some guy told me that he apparently stood behind murders of people from the Revolutionary Communist Party of Volta? I believe the party was Hoxhaist and opposed to Sankara and his revolution. Anyone knows anything about this?

It is true that the Parti Communiste Révolutionnaire Voltaïque opposed Sankara, but I have not heard of political murders related to opposition political parties. If the events you mention actually occurred, it is more likely that the people involved were executed.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, executed would be a more correct term. I thought it sounded really strange myself and I've never heard about it until now. I've tried to search the net for more, but I haven't found anything on it.
