Forum art request

[Q]

Since last Wednesday IPBFree kicked the bucket, so the International, the biggest commie community on Cybernations, lost its forum and about 20 months of history :(

So, we've started a new forum which is temporarily hosted here (http://socialisten.net/cybernations/index.php).

As you can see, the standard graphics (logo and buttons) are still very standard, so I'm requesting someone to make new ones :)

The standard buttons are:

I want to replace that with a nice star, with the same effects as the buttons above:

The dimensions should be 44x44 and 22x22 (so 3 buttons in 44x44 and the same 3 buttons in 22x22).

The current logo is just the name of the theme we use. I want to replace that with "The International" with the "The" part in black and "International" in red. The width is at your discretion, but the height may be no more than 87px. If possible, I would like to see the same "shiny" effect that the current logo has:

its not that hard, can give it a try, though the star part confuses me a bit.
the first one you want just a gray star?
the second one, you want a red star?
the third one?

Also a print screen of your forum would be helpful as i cant see it now, it requires registering and im too bored to register.

i m not sure what type of letters to use, i gone threw all of those i have in photoshop and none seemed ok to me.If you have any preference.

i used one that seemed "decent" but its not that good for me at least, here is the first image:(its big cause you cant work small and go big, but you can work big and go small, and its easier)

not a professional work, its not that hard to make such things with photoshop, so if you feel ok with some of those elements in there say, if you are not with others again say it.Ohh and also i dont like red black combination, i dont think it works;)

Perhaps the third one can be a grey star with a smaller red star at the bottom right corner?

I think it has some promise, but it has to have a transparant background and, if possible, I'd prefer something that has a "shine" over the letters, like the Argentum logo I posted (I'm unsure what it's called).
