So here I am, I've been waiting 9 long months since Megadeth and Slayer canceled there show on account of Tom Araya's back surgery. Now in 10 days all my waiting is going to pay off.
I began to think about how much money they are actually making off of this postponement. If you think about it each ticket is 75 dollars and the coliseum in my city can house roughly 10,000 people,(leftace you can probably help me out with an estimate on this one.) Also multiplying that by how many city's have been postponed it is already a huge amount of money. But they more than likely didn't keep this in a huge safe, it was probably kept in a bank. The interest would be a great amount of money, a lot more than the nickles and dimes i get each month. Who gets to keep the extra money, and is it right that they get to make that money at the fans expense? I think not.
Also have any of you seen any of the concerts yet? Is Slayer only promoting their new album or are they doing their classics too? any reviews would be appreciated, although I already know it will be awesome.
