Sorry to here you say that comrade. Anything you'd like to share? Sounds like you're disappointed in certain people for something recently. People can be pretty shitty sometimes, but don't lose faith in the concept of friendship. It's an invaluable thing and I'm sure lots of us here would be down to talk if you ever need it.

My friends use to do the same thing as yours , it was probably because i was the youngest of them and it was a kind of hazing but really it does make you tougher. the thing i hated the most of it though was I didn't know when to get pissed or when to man up and take it.

I don't so much hate people as I choose to associate with very few of them these days. I'm not shy, just somewhat of a recluse by choice.

Personally,I am sick of the world around me as well. That's why I want to move to Cambodia someday with my girl or something, I hear people still have what those in the west have lost; there is no such thing as "awkward" in Cambodian culture when being friendly, or talking to strangers, there is still a sense of decency and respect for humanity (ironic considering Pol Pot and co.) and every Khmer I have ever met was lovely.

I can't wait to get out of the USA.
