Petit-bourgeoise or proletariat

I grew up with a father who works in upper management at a small company. However, I am currently working for a living 40+ hours a week, with bare minimal help from my parents (help with college tuition since I don't recieve financial aid). Am I petit-bourgeoise or proletariat?

Also, both my parents grew up working class and that did influence how I grew up. So I'm not too sure I grew up in a fully petit-bourgeoise environment.

If you can't make a living from the money your father gives you from your his petit-bourgeois job, you cannot be considered to be petit-bourgeois as you have to perform wage-labour to survive. You are working-class.

Your father may have been petite bougois, nut you are defiantly a member of the proletariat. It revolves around how YOU obtain your income (unless you live with your parents or something).
