A "drug scare" without any actual drugs...what will they think of next?

The drug war is not 'insane' from the point of view of the ruling class. If you need a pretext to put the lid on ghetto rebellion by having millions of blacks and Latinos constantly incarcerated, a 'war on drugs' is perfectly sane.
If you need a new excuse to constantly intervene in Latin America's economic and political affairs after the end of the Cold War, then a 'war on drugs' is perfectly sane.

Of course there are people who benefit from the Drug War...politicians, crime syndicates, prison guard organizations and the other various apparati of the prison-industrial complex, etc.
That doesn't mean that I can't laugh at the insanity (yes...insanity) of it's direction at times, though.

Holy shit I just looked up that i-doser stuff and the video is just a bunch of fucking high pitched noises. I didn't do it lying down or closing my eyes so I may not have gotten the full experience but I'm a little buzzed. We need to ban it immediately I wouldn't want my children doing this!

I only had one of these work 3 times while lying on my bed at night in the dark with head-phones on listening for an hour straight. I had a feeling of spiraling around in space with complete loss of balance and was totally freaked out with my heart pounding intensely and my breathing really heavy. It's weird.

It doesn't sound like much fun. Can you actually get the nice feelings of real drugs, just from listening to mp3s?

These music clips are boring and make my ears hurt from badness.
I bet those kids are just imagining it.
¿Que?

The human imagination is always one step ahead of what it actually is capable of. Seriously, if we could get high through the internet, then we could also have i-antibiotics or some shit.
EDIT: and since when do we use the "i" to designate internet or digital shit. Whatever happened to the "e".

It's too bad that pretty much every single one of these doesn't work. Other wise I'd have these going on my ipod 24/7:D.

Tried the i-doser stuff and can tell you it is very much stupid and very much fake. You are much better off taking some acid and listening to industrial.

Yeah if you're looking at the Idoser expecting something like actual drugs you're going to be disappointed.
Good for getting to sleep though.
