But let's consider good versus bad thread titles. Let's take this thread. I purposely gave it a bad title in order to make a point. If your thread title doesn't reflect the subject matter, but instead is a vague phrase that only makes sense after you read the thread (like here) it is a bad thread title. It might get people's interest, but it doesn't help us remember which thread it was after we post on it, mostly because it resembles all the other threads that titled with a vague phrase.

Anyway, that's just my opinion. You don't have to listen to me. I might see if there's any official rules about this, though.
