View Full Version : Hello, from a pure-blooded communist!

Hello, I am Andriyan. I live in Macedonia, an independent democratic country. As you know Macedonia was part of SFR Yugoslavia, but it was split in 1991. And yes, we do live really worse than in SFR Yugoslavia. We don't have any money (I'm speaking general - about the country), and everything is really... shitty (sorry for my expression, but that's the only one saying the real condition we are in now).
I can proudly declare myself as a marxist-leninist communist, and I do respect all of the ideologies, only excluding democracy (I will eventually open a thread for answers).
So that's me. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them.
Brotherhood and unity!

Welcome!
You need to differentiate between actual democracy and bourgeois democracy.
Are there a lot of communists in Macedonia?

Of course, bourgeois (liberal) democracy. But it's just written in the law, like any other country. Democracy doesn't exist in a true way. And for communism there is a lot of it, but it's getting away very fast. So sad of that, and the condition of living is very low because of the crappy economic system.
Thanks for the welcome.
Welcome :)
I also wonder about the communist movement in Macedonia and much of the rest of the Balkan.
For a federative socialist Balkan republic! :)

Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia
The country doesn't exist anymore (Yugoslavia) and there are still marks of communism here in Macedonia. But the thing is that it's really miss-shown in schools, and we "the younger generation" don't really know what's communism. But I'm very interested in the Marxist-Leninist ideology, and I'm currently studying it. P.S there is a socialist and communist party in Macedonia, both not-so-popular. But the 2nd largest, and maybe the largest party is Social-Democratic Union of Macedonia.

Actually, I was argueing a federative republic of the whole of the Balkan: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and perhaps Turkey.
Encompassing the whole of the geographical Balkan (and a bit more in the cases of Romania, Turkey, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia):

That could never happen because there is too much nationalism.

In your opinion, why is there so much nationalism in the modern Balkans?

Good to see another comrade from the Balkans, welcome!

That's generally the case everywhere, given that we're living in the context of the capitalist state system. Don't you agree that communists should strive for the greatest possible unity?

I do, and I want the greatest possible unity. But not all people think like me. Their minds are full of prototypes, and nationalism. People just hate other nationalities. I'm great supporter of SFRY Reunion, even tho that's really hard. But I'm just not sure about the whole Balkan!
Thanks for the great welcome's people.
