I doubt it's news to anyone that the idea of terrorism is used as an excuse to justify war, precisely because it is so vague that it can be found anywhere, if you squint hard enough.
Well, I stumbled onto a story that, while being almost a year old, demonstrates that there are elements that are trying to find connections, no matter how spurious, between Bolivia, of all places, and Islamic fundamentalism.
Recently I got in an argument with my dad where I basically said to him that allegations of terrorism from the US government all have one thing in common: all countries involved are basically anti-imperialist and uncooperative economically. My dad laughed and asked why then isn't the US accusing Venezuela of harboring terrorists. Next best thing I suppose?

(I have no idea whats the deal with this axisoflogic site, if it's good or not, but it's irrelevant because apparently FOX was reporting on this at one point).
