I posted this on other group and got a reply that this sounded racist .By reading my post does this sound racist or is this just anti-US?

I have seen alot of left people and some do come agross anti-US even here at revleft. Is such views bad or is my lack of understanding of the US history and Sociology clouding my judgment of why the US is like this.

If I understand US history and Sociology would I understand why the US is like this?

I'm trying to understand this in a scientific manner with out getting to into this anti-US .

Here was my post people got worked up over ..

--snip--

New year grate for science and technology bad for social reform.Obama yes we can , hope and change !! Fox news watch out for Obama do not elected him he going to tax the rich and business !! He is big supporter of Unversal heathcare and have posters of Che Guevara.Watch out for Obama he is anti- rich and anti- business and supports wealth distribution and too much for the poor and welfare state !!!

News flash 2009 is gone yes 2009 is gone and Obama true color are showing !!! That see what he did in 2009 .

---war in Iraq and Afghanistan still going on and no talk on coming home.

---Talk on Unversal heathcare doing the elections has shifted to that bring out a plan now so the poor has access to heath insurance

---Talk on taxing the rich and businesses ( want a joke just talk to get in ) In fact he is taxing the small businesses and businesses not doing well and supporting the big businesses and big corporations.

---Talk on wealth distribution and welfare state ( still waiting for this fox news

--- Better relations with Venezuela ,Cuba and Russia I have yet to see this.

---For the environment and getting of coal, gas and oil want a joke ( He is doing none of this )

---I don't seem him supporting hydrogen cars or electric cars like the green peace

Now you see he is a conservative with fake image he was a left wing savior of greed and corruptions.

Wow want a year !! Thanks 2009 only science and technology moving up the ladder and well social reform has been frozen from 70's to now. That see 70 to 80 that 10 years , 80 to 90 that 10 years , 90 to 2000 that 10 years and 2000 to 2010 that 10 year that is 40 years !!!

Yes 40 years in time bubble where is captain Kirk that is going get us unstuck ? Got love Richard Nixon for is anti- communism talk and wars on communism almost starting ww3 !! Got love Vietnam War .war on drugs ,large prison population and large government debt.

There is still major libertarian mass in the US where out side the US libertarian views are mostly extinct. In much the libertarian and hardcore conservative is why the US is only industries nation that is really backwards when you look at Europe,South America and Central America being way more progressive .

--snip--

Again I want to understand this in a scientific manner and understand why the US is like this .People of the left should look at the US has victims not enemies.

I think understanding US history and Sociology will help why the US is like that and why 30 or 40 years no change at all not even small reform.

I'm not sure what you are specifically asking about. Are you asking why people thought that your post was "racist" in another forum - do you meant that people thought it was "racist" against people in the US or racist against Obama. If people thought it was racist against Obama on another forum, it is probably because most US liberals are not used to hearing criticism of Obama coming from anyone but US conservatives often appeal to racist ideas and myths in their criticism.

The only thing in your post itself that could possibly be misinterpreted as racist might be this:
Obama true color are showingSo if it wasn't that line specifically, I think people probably just don't know where you are coming from politically when you criticize Obama.

If you are asking why there has not been significant change in the US over the last 40 years, then that is a more complicated subject. In short, I think there has been change, but it has been in the wrong direction from our perspective, the perspective of what's good for the working class.

Since the late 70s, there has been a one-sided class war of business against workers in order for business to regain declining profitability. This has meant that both parties in the US have sought to get rid of social programs, undo the reforms won by the social-movements of the 1960s and 70s: make US imperialism "respectable" in the eyes of US citizens after Vietnam; re-justify racism against blacks and latinos; marginalize political dissidents. They also went on the offensive against labor directly by smashing unions and passing laws that restrict labor rights, and setting up anti-union "right to work" states in the US south and southwest.

So the US working class is really pretty demoralized and confused because they have been on the defensive for an entire generation. Obama's initial popularity and the mass-illusions that he would actually make radical change in the US shows how desperate workers here do want all these supposedly "un-american" reforms... the problem is that the working class here is out of practice in how to actually organize and make forceful demands and win them.

You said "Obama is showing his true colors" that's all I could find that could be even remotely seen as racist.

They thought I was racist of the US or anti-US

I guess it could be misinterpreted. And them not understanding no one will that anyone in power that will change the US even slightly change.

That is what I'm trying to ask and understand.

This is what I do not understand.I thought after ww2 business boom to the late 80's before declining profitability and high unemployment a big slow done but not has bad has the depression.

Not sure why the US thinks like that ,

They seem to think the above is very bad and the free-market and businessess will save them and the above is very bad. Has for racism against blacks and latinos it has never gone away in the US.

Are you asking whether or not your post was racist? I don't think it was particularly racist, but it was difficult to understand.

I do not want to sound bigotry in my post so that is why it is absolutely necessary that I understand why the US is so ultra conservative and so slow at changing than other countries.

I think the US is going back in time with American tea party and big libertarian base and lossing all hope.
