Welcome :)
Now, allow me to peddle my brand of Anarchism to you (obviously the correct one :p).
This is the organizational Platform, written by members of the Makhnovist movement after the Russian civil war.

And here is a good collection, from the same site, of texts from and relating to the Makhnovists and Platformism.

What I think most distinguishes Makhnovism from most other brands of Anarchism is the more or less open admission that an Anarchist vanguard must exist, and a serious attempt to put forth a mode for this to be organized. As important, or moreso, than the Platform itself is to actually study what they did during the war, as I think that offers the greatest insight for effective organizing.
This isn't lifestyle anarchism, or sowing a circle-a patch on a jacket, this is ideological Anarchism, and as such I believe it is more practical.
Anyway, you'll hear plenty of theories as to the best way to be an Anarchist on here, but this is mine. :thumbup1:
Or you could choose anarcho-communism. Start here: http://anarchism.pageabode.com/afaq/index.html

OR you could be a free human being with your feet on the ground who actively engages with the people around you to try and support each other and create relationships in opposition to domination in all its forms, trying instead to nurture growth and love in everyday life. Keep in mind that in order to do this, you don't actually have to spend any time reading a bunch of stuff that was written a hundred years ago. All you gotta do is be true to yourself and keep your eyes open. It is often just as important (and sometimes even more educational) to learn what you don't like, as it is to discover what does attract you.
Yes, there is a bunch of historical stuff that you will benefit from gaining a complex understanding of. There is also a lot of self-important jargon here that you do not need feel obligated to learn about, as there is no chance that anybody in the real world will ever actually care about it at all. Don't feel rushed into anything and especially don't take the kind of lunacy that passes for normal around here as any yardstick for how revolutionaries interact with each other in real life. This site sometimes has some pretty good viewpoints, but it also scrapes the underside of the barrel
C'mon, I was just giving him some variety.

Its up to you
Either way, welcome to the forum :thumbup1:
