This article was given to me by a comrade from another party, but nonetheless I think the message is extremely important for Marxists today, and how studying the experience of the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 is necessary to reject the economic determinism and fatalist interpretation of Historical Materialism as presented by Kautsky, and later by Stalin. I particularly appreciate the part on the role of consciousness in a historical revolution.
