any recommendations of spots to go to?

im going to be downtown area mostly i got some lists of bookstores and stuff and a cafe.

but i want more spots.

or even if someone lives here and wants to show me around for a day.
ill gladly kick you back some bones or treat you to lunch..

if dignity village is still operating, you might want to check that out. its a homeless place that runs kind of like a commune.

a representative spoke at my campuse last year about it. it was pretty good. its used as an address for homeless so they can get on their feet. its run by them too. at least i think.

I've only been to Portland once, and it kinda sucked. It's crawling with hipsters...you probably won't see more manbags and stupid beards/mustaches anywhere else. Plus it's indirectly responsible for me having a criminal record. So fuck Portland.

On the good side, though, I did see a (crazy) Jesus Lizard show while I was there.
