He seems to be a liberal whose idea of socialism is being nice to poor people. He's probably a nice guy, but anybody who calls themself a socialist because they want people to pay slighly more tax is a bit silly, imo.


You don’t even have to have socialism. I am talking about minimal things. Put money aside to fund playgrounds and high school football teams. Are you kidding me? The Grammy Awards has to make a plea to keep music in schools? I mean, what planet are we on? I guess I am asking another question in my work as well: What happened?

I think that is less of a problem with Lewis Black as it is with American political discourse where "socialism" is synonymous with "a government."

At least he's open to the idea of Socialism. Better than any of those openly pro-capitalist public celebrities.
