My only regret is that I live in a state that hates fireworks. However, this has created the cultural phenomenon of fireworks superstores on the Indiana border, where every summer hordes of people pour out from Chicago to Peoria into these massive warehouses filled with wondrous pyrotechnic devices. :lol:

It's really overdone here in my city. There is a war-like haze and jarring detonation noises all directions. Makes going anywhere a complete pain.

There's a big fireworks display in my town, so hell yeah I like it. I enjoy hanging out around a lot of people and seeing fireworks displays even if it's to celebrate the United States.

They also hurt my vision, which I am not fond of either, seeing as I like to see. The common firework makes it pretty far down there on my list of physical objects that I despise.

I happen to live right next to where the California state fair is held. Last year there were fireworks every night for about three weeks. The first time it happened, I thought it was gun fire.
