It's a former communist current in wich certain European Communist Parties, in an attempt to disassociate themselves from Stalinism, took up reformism and populism, and the desire to co-operate with and be accepted by the current ruling elite.

Basically, it is Diet Communism. Really, it's little different from democratic socialism in most regards.

I see... I've also read the texts on wiki. Seems totally reformist.
Well, are there still many eurocommunist parties? What? Where?

Eurocommunism is basically social democracy originating in previously communist parties which withdrew from the Soviet bloc following the Prague spring in 1968. They usually have about 2-9% of the support in their various home countries.

According to most ideological communists, they are opportunists. The problem is that ideologically pure communist parties usually have about 0-0,5% of the vote in any given western country. So... it seems like people don't like ideologically pure communism.
