To me, the most important thing is workers control, of the means of production, and of the society we live in.
Socialism, should not be the old, take the power out of the bourgeosie and place it into the hands of the Party Elite.
It is my view, that to guarantee the power stays with the people, we should do the following after the revolution.
1) Use communes to provide housing for all, give people the chance to move to rural communes, and make the difference in population between the Urban and Rural smaller, but only if the people wish to do so.
This would mean that a section of workers could use their labour to tend to livestock, crops and keep the countries populous well fed and self reliant.
The urban population, could then use their labour to provide clothing, and produce all other materials that the people would need in Steelworks to laptops and everything inbetween.
The workers should have councils to decide on the things to be produced and the way of most efficiently doing so.

Council members should be elected by their co workers.
If revolutionaries become prominent during the revolution, they should exclude themselves from nomination, as to make sure all idols and icons, are replaced, so that the workers look up to each other, rather than one person.
All councilers should be able to be removed by their colleagues as of whenever they see fit, they should also only be allowed to serve the people for a maximum of two years.
Because no one will be wasting labour making useless comodities like keyrings and consumer bullshit, this will mean all the workforce will be working on the major things we need in society, so this will mean, due to the people all working to build the same things, a working day could be shortened to about three hours long, this means the workers can actually enjoy life, and not just live to work.
This leads to happy and true lives, where we can spend our time with one another, rather than passing each other, as a work module.

It sounds alot like the Israeli Kibbutz system, which in my opinion, is one of the only good things to come out of the state of Israel.
I like the idea; the only thing I don't like is the division of labor, as that leads to class distinctions. if labor is to be divided, the concept of "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need" must remain in effect.
I also like the idea of labor rotation; except for those jobs which require precision skills, I like the idea that labor jobs are rotated throughout the population, so that no divisions form or solidify.
on your ideas of elected boards, I agree but disagree, as I think anyone should stand the chance for election, and their service to revolution shouldn't disqualify them from taking a leadership position--what has to be done though, is that leadership, like any other job in the society, can't be beset with privelidge, rather, it must pay the exact same as any other job, and must have no additional perks or power, thus just making it another job (which is what politics should be).

no money would be used, so this may cause some reactionary rural workers to hoarde food, but, if class consciosness is high enough, i am sure this will not happen.
Also, workers could work in the rural areas for a year, then work in the Urban sector for a year.
The very low working hours, would also bring the population together, the workers would for the first time in society, be able to be with everyone, in total, unrestricted freedom, with no boundaries, no gay or straight or black or white, just the people, no bills no worries no classes and no wealth disparity.
