A Las Barricadas
Black storms shake the sky
Dark clouds blind us
Although death and pain await us
Duty calls us against the enemy
The most precious good
is freedom
And we have to defend it
With courage and faith
Raise the revolutionary flag
Which carries the people to emancipation
Raise the revolutionary flag
Which carries the people to emancipation
Working people march onwards to the battle
We have to smash the [right-wing] Reaction.
To the Barricades! To the Barricades!
For the triumph of the Confederation
To the Barricades! To the Barricades!
For the triumph of the Confederation.

Last year on the G20 march some of the anarchists I was marching with started to sing this, but didn't want to sing 'the union makes us strong' so changed the words to 'the IWW makes us strong'. Well... it seemed funny at the time.

En la plaza de mi pueblo
dijo el jornalero al amo
nuestros hijos nacerán
con el puño levantado.

Bella Ciao, La Marseillaise
Love Bella Ciao, first heard the Rude Mechanical Orchestra's rendition of it, then went and looked for the original. Great song.
