Not exactly sure what are the requirements for a 'the situation in...' subforum ? Is it just any area of intense class struggle ? I mean, are we gonna end up with one for Afghanistan, Phillipines, Venezuela, Iraq, Somalia, Thailand, Kyrgyztan, etc etc

We could also have a forum for Maoist activity world-wide or something..? Or would that be too much? I'd just like to see the Philippines and Peru with Nepal, India and to a lesser extent Bhutan if a South Asian forum would be added.

Hmm. I dunno if the rulers of RevLeft would feel comfortable with a Maoist section. Also, the PPW in Peru isn't closely linked to the Indian one for example, so such a subforum would be based on tendency rather than the real struggle..

Perhaps the best idea would be to have regional subforums for the various arenas of struggle in the world ? Ie, South Asia (India Nepal Sri Lanka etc), Latin America (Venezuela Peru Colombia etc), Middle East (Palestine Iraq Iran Afghanistan mayber etc) and so on

i support south asia forum, but if the Nepal revolution and the Indian Maoists start producing a lot of info for their respective events the forums should be separated.

also, is nepal on the subcontinent? maybe it could be called the Subcontinent forum?
