Groups in the Jerusalem Area

I have the fantastic opportunity to live in Israel for 3 months come January 2011 with my grandparents. My grandfather is a professor of Criminal Justice on sabbatical, and I get to tag along with them.

I think this would be a great opportunity for me to do a bit of filming, practice my Hebrew and Arabic skills, and to be able to see for myself what happens in the most fought over city in the world.

My question is: are there any leftist/pro-palestinian groups in the Jerusalem area that I could get involved with while I'm there? I don't want to just sit and take language classes all day long!

There are groups opposing evictions and settlements in places such as Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan. There is a rally in Sheikh Jarrah every Friday (assuming that that is still going on in January)
