When I was little, I was into Lego. I had this huge bin of random Lego pieces that I'd spend hours using to build articulated robots with little cockpits for the pilots.

My friends and I used to bring our legos over to each other's houses and then would get in physical altercations over what legos belonged to whom.

those were the days.

Mindfuck.

Anyway, I'm a pretty juvenile guy, so toys generally amuse me

Woah, that is weird. How is that possible or how does that even work?

AK
28th June 2010, 05:48
:O The top side is connected to the right side. The left side is connected to the right side and the top of the left side is made of triangular pieces so the illusion works from a perspective.

28th June 2010, 06:12
Oh, I see, the vertical side is made of lego pieces that slope

I was never creative enough to be any good with those things, but this is still awesome

Videogames are toys in computer form...

How about this game:

There's also one called Lego Digital Designer from back in 2007, where you could actually order a kit of the model you design.

Besides having some legos, I actually had a lego video game (I don't remember the exact details, but for some reason now in retrospective I think the makers of the game sure did drugs).

I still play with legos. In fact, the other day, when I should've been revising for exams, me and my bro were making some really cool spaceships, which was nice.

Was never any creative with them, but I loved building and rebuilding what I was told to by the booklet.

Had a bunch of Star Wars themed ones. I had a Stormtrooper (http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.galaxybricks.com/technic/images/bg-stormtrooper.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.galaxybricks.com/technic/stormtrooper.php&usg=__-Qq09NFpkx5EkFSpM80j9BfmLfI=&h=882&w=616&sz=143&hl=en&start=75&um=1&itbs=1&tbnid=-pHEl30YbeQv-M:&tbnh=146&tbnw=102&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dstar%2Bwars%2Blego%2Bstormtrooper%26s tart%3D60%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client %3Dfirefox-a%26hs%3D77o%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26ndsp%3D20%26tbs%3Disch:1), C3P0, R2D2, Darth Vader (http://www.galaxybricks.com/technic/darth-vader.php), an ARC-170 (http://www.galaxybricks.com/episode3/arc-170fighter-lego.php) (the x-wing inspired ship from the Hayden Christensen shitfest) which drops those little pieces that made the heads of small lego people as bombs, a TIE fighter and a Y-wing (http://www.galaxybricks.com/episode4/tie-ywing7262.php).

I went through a small Star Wars phase around 6th grade.

I also had one from an old series set in the desert that was a bi-plane and it had a dude with a hook hand. Shit was so cash.

Also there was a bucket of random bricks my brother had, and we'd just build the toughest cars possible that had a little compartment for a dude and we'd slam them into each other and whoever stayed in the vehicle longest won.

As for the video games, I own Lego Island 1 and 2 and got Creator from a cereal box I think. Back when cereal boxes had good prizes...

lego is how we will achive the revolution, by building a utopia one brightly coloured brick at a time.
