According to the statutes approved in the Extraordinary Congress of the PSUV on april 2010:
party members who already are or aspire to play leadership positions within the PSUV or as directive officers in the public administration must approve the corresponding level of the Socialist vocational training system.It has been recently issued a "2º textbook for the ideological formation":
Through a hundred of pages of the second textbook for socialist training, the "patrulleros" will find full texts like the Communist Manifesto from Marx and Engels, Reform and Revolution by Rosa Luxemburg, Socialism and Man in Cuba by Che Guevara, and chapters of books such as The State and the Revolution by Lenin, as well as speeches by Fidel Castro and by President Hugo Chavez, among others.
