it fails to even mention that the founding of the IWW led to a conflict between the IWW and other unions on miltancy and also race issues. the IWW being the more class conscious of the lot at the time. in 19 0'fucking 5.

and yes, its true that many late 19th centruy american unions were racist. just because they are unionized doesnt mean the leadership or membership are completely class conscious or politically developed. that changed over time.

im sure we all hate beck, but i was dissapointed that he focused on the CPUSA in his 6/24 show talking strictly about communism in the US.

I agree. It's just him digging up "dirt" in the history of american unions. In almost every arena in American history, there is a history of racism. Besides, it's not like Beck has ever really cared about racism before.
