do you think physics is a bourgeois construct due to the alienation exarberated in the division of labor

Nachie
24th June 2010, 22:07
i think that question is wholly irrelevant to anyone i would ever choose to do political work with.

black magick hustla
24th June 2010, 23:34
its as relevant as bird language, shamanism, the existence of gnomes and parkour

Nachie

really? the splitting of ideological hairs is as relevant as the intrinsic processes of the natural world, native wisdom that predates "physics" by tens of thousands of years at least, the ability to tell an engaging story using accessible myth and metaphor, or wholistic methods of maintaining physical fitness?

i don't see it.

i was just screwing around with you. well i guess i was being a bit tongue in cheek because i am kindof familiar with that sort of anti-civ arguments (mainy because i am fascinated with them).

although tbh if your revolutionary theory is going to embrace that sort of lifestyle "fun activities" i think i am entitled to integrate physics too. numerous ancient myths said that men were made of clay, i think the physics theory that men are essentially stardust is 100000000x better and it is related to "intrinsic processes of the natural world". i understand the logic behind but i think anti-civ folks are as ideological as anybody else.

bcbm: yes i do enjoy camatte but the only thing i've read is the wandering of humanity and even that i never made it all the way through because i was borrowing a copy.

maldoror: how can anything that doesn't embrace fun activities be considered revolutionary theory? i've read recent stuff claiming that the molecular structure of clay is remarkably similar to that of DNA, and i've read numerous mythologies of tribal peoples also describing this stardust origin. doesn't really make a difference to me; i'm mostly just interested in what i can do to keep my friends and i from having to be lonely, hungry, wet, or cold.

and i absolutely agree that anti-civ folks can be ridiculous and dogmatic. this is why i am first and foremost always a RAANista :)
