? not racist comment i think, as for homophobia they did use homophobic terms now and then but they usually defended homosexuals and told students scientific facts about it, not pseudo-science crap. then again i'm living in canada.

The thing here is that, a teacher has a captive audience. Anything he/she says in the classroom will be heard by young impressionable students, who are supposed to open their minds and learn things. And what are they learning here?
