The main nazi-forum in Sweden and Scandinavia Nordisk.nu has been hacked, it was managed by the nazi-group "Nordiska Förbundet" and had over 10,000 members. This is like Stormfront being hacked. The whole database was downloaded and the nazis did not realise the extent of the hack until some months later when internal "PMs" started showing up on the web a week ago, then many things happened...

- 203,450 of their personal messages from 2007-03-29 is now open, YES 203,450! 3 years of private discussions!

- Over 30 elected local Swedendemocrats(the Swedish BNP) are members on the forum, only 4 have been outed so far. Some openly declare themselves as nationalsocialists and denies the holocaust. http://expo.se/2010/48_3104.html

- The identities of the 20 leading theoreticians in the swedish nazi movement have been revealed, this is the "elit swedish theoreticians" who has under pseudonyms posted guidelines and litterature for the whole nazi-movement on their portal Motpol.nu. Only the upperclass nazi Jonas de Geer have posted under his real identity. The identities was to be made public if they did not stop posting and they would face "consequences", seven of the blogs have been removed so far. Motpol.nu is aligned with the nazi-group "Nordiska Förbundet".

- A big financer have been revealed, the lawyer Tobias Ridderstråle have been donating 25.000 euros to Nordiska Förbundets new shop Arktos.com. Tobias Ridderstråle have been fired from his prestigeous job at the lawyer firm Roschier because of this. http://www.realtid.se/ArticlePages/201006/11/20100611150154_Realtid452/20100611150154_Realtid452.dbp.asp

- Their main moderator "Wodinaz" spied on different members(from other
nazi-groups) of the forum for his own nazi-group "Nordiska Förbundet". He mainly spied on "Swedish Resistance Movement"-members because "Nordiska Förbundet" and "Swedish Resistance Movement" have been in a row for years on ideological reasons. The row is now total!

- We now have exclusive insight in all of their internal fightings inside the groups and between different nazi-groups. Plus a whole lot of numbers, adresses, names, pictures, passwords, mails etc...

This is only the begining I predict.... :D

No they are not public yet. We have a very professional "intelligence group" called "AFA Doku" in Sweden which I believe can be behind this hack. Even the swedish security police SÄPO have said that antifascists in Sweden is exceptionally good at intelligence gathering.
So far it seems that the antifascist magazine Expo have parts of the files.

Those who did this waited for months first before they released info that could reveal that the hack had been made. After Expos article about the Swedendemocrats the nazis knew something was up and confessed that they had been hacked some months ago but did not know how deep the hack was. "Nordiska Förbundet" who ran the forum is now in ruins. Nordiska Förbundets former shop "Nordiska Förlaget" was also hacked some years ago and the complete customer-register was made public. We have to wait and see if this hack also will be made public property...

Yup. So, looking at the OP, one could think of some quick pointers:

If it happens, the admins should inform people just what kind of private data was leaked.
People should be aware that PMs are not the same as, say, a walk in a quiet park, and clear them from time to time.
When you get elected, don't post on Revleft (or make absolutely sure your account can't be linked to you). When you do, don't say stuff that you wouldn't say in public.
Same for other public persons like "leading theorists" (as if), businesspeople (lol), etc.
Don't conduct real life political affairs through Revleft.
Don't put real addresses and phone numbers on Revleft.

No. We are protected by the ghosts of Marx and Engels.

While I agree with all your points, I don't fully understand what this means. Is meeting people from revleft discouraged? Is informing revleft members of upcoming events a possible risk? Isn't the internet supposed to be about bringing like-minded people together, in cyberspace and IRL.

This one needs clarification I think.

You could also add, don't donate to revleft. Anyone who has ever donated is at risk of their identity being revealed should the site get hacked.

Also, don't discuss illegal activity you've taken part in. Not only for revleft's sake, but your own. This includes drug talk. Drugs and the internet are like that one scene in fear and loathing where they're doing bumps at the police convention. It's fucking stupid!

Try telling that to Malte.

Well, I was being a bit ironic. Obviously I'm not saying people shouldn't donate to revleft. The thing is that it can be used to identify you.

Latest news is that the hack is now reported to the police by the nazis and that certain nazis are blaming eachother for collaborating with the hackers! Those nazis who are getting blamed for this have been in a row with other members of "Nordiska Förbundet". First we had the nazi-traitor "Sebastian ”Sebb” Petersson" who helped antifascists in Gothenburg to wipe out the nazis on the street over there (Gothenburg is Swedens second largest city and has no nazi-groups). Now we may have nazi-traitors helping to wipe out the nazis from the internet...
I predict that Salem 2010 will not happen...

Actually no, revleft doesn't handle the payments. Here comes the science bit (concentrate!)

The donation system in revleft is basically tells revleft once you click donate $10 that your payment is pending. A "cheque's in the post" type note with your username only and amount appears visible to admins. "El Bagoneta - $10" (it has a little tickbox beside it for when they're told it clears, sort of like the polling system except only admins can see it).

It then passes you on to a third party site where you identify your user to payment by putting your username in the comments for the new user. This is autofilled, but you don't have to, you can scrub that from the comments.

The guy who pays the hosting looks at the RL account, and says "oh we got a payment of $X from someone who put El Bagoneta in the comment section", and then the admins click the approved box and its added here as a payment. The system is semiautomatic and basically writes the admins a note which the person paying the site has to give the nod to manually after looking at his statement.

The actual money changing hands doesn't happen on this site at all and then its a semi anonymous escrow service so you'd have to hack paypal to get your information. There is absolutely NO danger of your info being collected from donations unless someone hacks paypal or breaks into Malte's house and forces him at gunpoint to log in so they can find out at most even the email address of that dude who paid $10 last week.

EDIT: Its actually difficult to change the comment field, but all that comes up is "Donation to Support RevLeft (User: Sean)" and the email address I use.
