im sure that we are all in agreement that we need more equality in the world, my question concerns in a Communistic society.

To what extent should people be materially equal+ obvs way more that under capitalism, but should people be totally, utterly equal

Complete utter materialistic equality? no. If one man is sick and another is healthy, only one needs medicine.
