I know some of you are very skilled in graphic design, so I would like to ask you to design banners for Che-Lives. The format would be 468x60 pixels, gif. Both banners for Che-Lives.com and for the community in particular would be cool.

in theory, it is becuase slower connections take a bit longer to load the sigs.

nonetheless i still would like to post an image sig. if it takes longer to load, you can still read the actual text while it is loading images.

Ever tried loading a site that uses image signatures on a 56K? It is not a nice process.

Chances are you won't read this but anyway you can't always read the text. I find that particulary on the phora that waiting for signatures to load also slows down the loading of the text.

I fucking hate all those sig overloaded boards like thephora, although I have a fast DSL line. It seems that's more important to have a cool looking sig than what you have to say there.

Malte, please don't ever allow images in sigs.

BOZG is right, you can't always read the poxt writing, and it slows down the whole thing waiting for all that crap to download. It's completely pointless anyway, why would you want a nice flashy picture after every thing you write? I'm perfectly happy with a few words of wisdom from someone I admire.

Just an idea, I slapped it toghether too quickly to look good, but if you guys have better ideas, or like it and belive it could be used; I will make the animation better, possibly add a background, or better statements, and have the animation be more continuous.

I am learning Adobe for the simple fact that it is time efficient. I have a career as a tattoo artist as well as other mediums including, watercolor, pen and ink, oil, acrylic, graffiti, and airbrush, and i have to say all those designs are wonderful (i have catagorized adobe as just another artform). But as a preferance i liked the simplicity behind enigma's design. A simple red portrait symmetrical to a black one on the far end. (if you are gonna go adobe and knock it out in a couple of hrs. on the screen) i believe their is much more to be said about a person who would spend weeks, or even months on art with each passionate stroke of a brush or with a spray paint can on a beautiful white wall which could possibly mean incarceration (not that i do that anymore). But what i am saying is, as much passion as i have for what Che did in his lifetime, i wouldnt want anything less than the perfect product. It could be impressionism, post-modernism, mannerism, baroque, or any other artform you could think of.

I created this in Photoshop 7.0. It took me about 15 mins to put together. Sorry to Additive Free for using the same "A" symbol.

Also there isn&#39;t ment to be white around the outline of the sig, I must have messed up somewhere while making it.

The banner is merely a reflection of the diversity of the revleft membership, hence the A and the hammer and sickle. These images are &#39;blended&#39; into one, in the form of a banner. The fact that the A was placed next to the face of che, does not make him an anarchist, nor does it suggest or &#39;associate&#39; him with said philosophy. There are not many people in the world who would ever make that association, you&#39;re being &#39;protective&#39; (can&#39;t think of a better word), and a little paranoid :P
