Police take over security at Cape Town stadium

CAPE TOWN, South Africa — Police took over responsibility for security at World Cup stadiums in Cape Town and Durban on Monday after a wage dispute escalated between stewards and a security contractor.

Now this is interesting. So the police took over security after the workers walked out. Once again, shows how the police serves capital first and foremost.

I wish they would have disrupted that game. That might have made more people aware of this issue.
