Comrade Alistair, whats the story behind the Madhesi People´s Rights Forum? From what I read on Wiki they're Social Democrats but it also says they're militant.

They're Madhesi chauvinists. The Madhesis are Hindi speaking people who live in the Terai plains in Southern Nepal. The Terai is Nepal's agricultural breadbasket and home to much of its industry. The people of the Terai have historically been disenfranchised and ignored by government that instead favour the Paharis, or people of the hills and mountains.

The Madhesi parties emerged as a response to this, calling for equality and self-determination for the Terai people. However, the situation is complex. There are many other nationalities in the Terai apart from the Madhesis, although the Madhesis are the largest. The Limbuwan, the Kochila, the list goes on. The Madhesi parties want 'one Madhes, one Pradesh', which means a single Madhesi state stretching across the entire Terai. This will effectively deny the non-Madhesi nationalities their self-determination, and perpetuate a new situation of injustice and oppression.

Many of the leaders of the Madhesi parties are former Maoists, who left after the peace accords were signed in order to seek personal gain and develop personal power bases. The Madhesi parties are controlled from India, and have in many cases attacked Maoist supporters, blocked peasants from seizing land and so on.

The Madhesi people have legitimate grievances, and the Maoist movement and its Madhesi organisations will address them in the course of the revolution. The Maoists have already declared an autonomous Madhesi state, and as the revolution progresses it will transform itself into a real government with real power.

But the MPRF and the various other Madhesi parties, which have split like five times in five years, offer nothing to the Terai people. Their parties of the landlord class and Indian expansionism.
