On June 12, the anti-immigrant Naperville Tea Party Patriots and members of the Illinois Minutemen Project will be rallying in support of the racist Arizona SB 1070 at Naperville City Hall. A counter-protest has been initiated by Immigrant Solidarity Dupage. ANSWER Chicago is calling on all progressive individuals and organizations in the Chicago area to come out on June 12 to oppose Tea Party and Minutemen racism and to continue the struggle to defeat racist SB 1070.
Bring your signs and banners. An injury to one is an injury to all. We need to get as many people out to this important counter-protest as possible. Let's send a loud and clear message to Washington, the state government in Arizona and all right-wing bigots that we will not tolerate anti-immigrant racism in Illinois!
