How on earth do you go about achieving Communism in that sort of Universe, the thought itself just melts my mind. The amount of work that would be needed to be done considering the massive amount of planets, different races, jedi/sith/nonforceusers. Once I start to think about it my head hurts and I stop and just watch the movies >_>. Your take?

Dont tell it anywhere else, but i am a Jedi, and we have achieved communism in the 12 out of 15 known habited galaxys.Your galaxy is the smallest so is the last for us to act, for now we are a few hundreds under cover, im the chief of planet earth, so dont worry, and restart watching our movies, one day we will achieve communism all over the Universe.

Are you supposed to tell him master? I thought the Jedi High Council's instructions were to wait until potential...

oh never mind. I've just realised he can read our thoughts, so he's probably suitable.

The Star Wars Galaxy isn't even capitalist. Its productive base is droid labour, which is making it into a slave society with a huge unemployed proletariat. That is why even small conflicts between the major corporations and the republican government lead into economic crises with refugees fleeing the capitol.

The Star Wars Republic/Empire is based upon Isaac Asimov's Foundation Trilogy, which is based upon "The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" by Edward Gibbon. Hence, its basically just a sort of science fiction variant of ancient Rome.

Well first you somehow control going between different universes and you land in the one that has Star Trek, because after all, they admit they're commies in the future.

Communism can only be achieved universally. Like Comrade Al said, socialism is not possible on one planet.

Nonsense. You Jedi are all bourgeois scum, spreading pro-light-side propaganda (in the form of the Star Wars franchise) by using your immense wealth to control the film industry! The Sith are the true revolutionary vanguard! Only the Dark Side of the Force can lead the intergalactic proletariat to socialism!

It's a little bizarre hearing this from the self-indulgent wealth-worshipping Sith.

All the exposure you've ever had to the Sith has been through Jedi propaganda films. Of course they would paint us in a bad light.

What are you talking about? Yes the Jedi represent the galactic bourgeois and acted against radicalism in galactic-front (i.e. the Rebel Alliance). But the Sith are reactionaries that fetishize a feudal galactic past.

With the victory of the Rebel Alliance, now new political questions and conflicts will arise. Obviously the Old Republic didn't work out so well and led right into the Galactic Empire. The Jedi want the galaxy to go back to the way it was before, but will the people from oppressed planets allow it?

Nerf Hearders, Wookiees, and Droids - unite and fight! You are our only hope.

(also the Jedi are fucking elitists - I mean, light-sabers WTF!? Blasters have a democratizing effect on the galaxy. I'm with Han Solo.)

While I do consider myself Sith in the Starwars universe, I do think the Sith are clearly some kinda crazy individualists. Jedi are bourgeois scum to the core. Can't fucking stand Jedis. >>

Primitivist.

I wonder if the Rebel Alliance has a left wing and a right wing. Like, maybe the right wing was represented by the liberal pacifists in Alderaan, representing the most privileged classes threatened by the Empire - but then after the destruction of Alderaan, the radical left took control, ultimately culminating in a guerilla style campaign in the forests of Endor.

Meanwhile, Han Solo represents the reluctant revolutionary potential of the lumpen.

I dont worry about that, i delete reports whenever i want. You see down here i got some great lessons from some supposed communists, i think there names were Stalin and Mao, so i will clean easily anything, maybe few people will die, but nothing too big.
But if you do have any concern, just see cyprus where im currently located, i changed the vote results and put a communist in the leadership who never wanted authority, yeah that was me that managed that.See, im working here! But still if anyone doubts, send him here for a little chat.

Jediism is my religion. I can assure you the Jedi are not bourgeois. We are the vanguard. You forget that the Rebel leader, Luke Skywalker, was a Jedi.

According to my religious authority's website: www.templeofthejediorder.org, here is what we Jedi believe:

Jedi Believe:

In the inherent worth of every person. People are worthy of respect, support, and caring simply because they are human.
In working towards a culture that is relatively free of discrimination on the basis of gender, race, sexual orientation, national origin, degree of ability, age, etc.
In the sanctity of the human person. We oppose the use of torture and cruel or unusual punishment including the death penalty. (1)
In the importance of democracy within religious, political and other structures.
In the separation of church and state; and the freedoms of speech, association, and expression. (2)
That the systems of truth in the field of morals, ethics, and religious belief that we have studied are not absolute: they vary by culture, by religion, and over time.
In the generally positive influence that most religions have had on their followers and on society. (3)
In the importance of individual believers determining evil influences and policies within their chosen faith group, and advocate for their correction.
In the importance of education. We believe that people are not truly educated unless they have studied at least the world's major religions and ethical systems. They need to learn of the good and bad impacts they have had on society. (4)

Please tell me how Jedis can be "theist" and "Juche"? We demand the importance of democracy. The temple's teachings are at least progressive.

You are theist because of your god called "the Force".

You don't want real democracy. You want bourgeois democracy which is simply dictatorship of the bourgeoisie.

Don't know about the Juche thing.

If you think the Force is a god, you've misunderstood the Force. The Force operates like the Tao in Taoism.

I don't know what my Jedi comrades think, but I want a socialist democracy.

Keep in mind, the Sith founded an oppressive EMPIRE. Sith are imperialist.
