On the off chance I might be going to Paris for a few days this summer, I was wondering if anybody could recommend me some things worth doing. Bare in mind I'm going with a group of 'LADS' who will have little to no interest in sites of leftist history, and also that I'm on a very tight budget.

Is it true pints can cost anything up to 12 euro?!

Go somewhere else in France. Paris isn't really the place where LADS go for a few days with no money.

In fact, most of France isn't. I'd recommend Prague or Spain.

True, but I'm sure that a hedonistic weekend is possible anywhere - Paris or Marbella. Plus I can probably kip at a friend's if I go there.

Prague looks amazing though.

Unless you're from North of the Don, I refuse you're claim to be a lad unless your opposite numbers are lasses. Anyway, my suggestion would be to not go with 'lads'. Nah nah, I'm not a lad, hence the somewhat sarcastic phrasing of it in my post (...well, it was meant to seem sarcastic). My friends are lads though, or some of them.

dont go to clichy sous bois if you cant speak algerian french. it would be a bad decision.

the SDFs (homeless) might still be camping on the banks of the Seine. that might be worth checking out. not sure tho
