Hey, im carlos from the revolutionary country of Nicaragua. As u must know Daniel Ortega is back in power and we are trying tu build a socialist system but is a very slow process since most people here are not ready yet for this kind of change even thoug is contradictory since we are a poor country but what can i say, the communication media here sucks!

Im very proud of the socialist movements in latinoamerica, i think we are in the right direction, creating a new type of socialism because we need to be innovators and adjust the theory to our reality in order to succeed. I hope i can make a lot of left wing friend here and more important that we debate ideas so that way we can develop together to become a better revolutionary everyday.

Hello. How do you feel about Chavez and Morales?

Chavez and Morales are my idols. Chavez is the leader that latinoamerica needed, he began this new wave of left wing goverments in latinoamerica and he is working hard in his country along with his people. I can see how he communicate and connect with the venezuela crowd and how now the poor people in that country finally know what it feels to have hope. Everything that he do is for them, for the poorest people.

Evo on the other hand its also a leader that is very close to his people with the singularity to be the first indian president from latinoamerica since the independence. Both president are allyed and they complement each other to unit latinoamerica and bring wealth to all of us.

what do u think?

So far I like what I see. Chavez has done wonders to increase class consciousness in Latin America. But he hasn't really done anything to be my "idol." He's the president of a bourgeois state, with a shaky plan to get to socialism.

My family is from Venezuela.
