What is it with the amount of "ex-something" groups now? Ex-anarchist, ex-ultraleftist, ex-authoritarian, ex-libertarian/ultraindividualist.
Why?

People think that having converts lends credence to their theories. That's why they want to stress how "their people" used to be something else.
They're for wankers with nothing better to do. You'll notice that in every single group there is very little or no substantial discussion. I don't know why people bother with that shit. What a waste of time... this isn't to say that I have anything, personally, against the people who started these groups.

They're stupid and I only ever start them in response to others.
I would join an ex-bordigist group, except I was never organized. I was a little curious on the ex-ultraleft group but Im a bit wary of it's intent.

Basically, by joining it, you can say: "I used to enthusiastically adapt some silly ideology as a passing fad, but then I got in with the cool kids on Revleft so now I'm an anarchist/trot/ML. Give me attention!"
