Okay so my older bro enlightened me to all this and invited me to the site, but im still learning a lot. I've read a lot into Marxism, Guevara, Mao, Stalin, Lenin, all that but I'm still trying to figure more out. I could sit for hours until i pass out reading...i love to read...but i cant help but wonder if im missing any information, my bro gave me all and any information i think i could need but im worried that maybe i missed something. What does it truly mean to be a socialist to you?

Who do you mostly look up to?
How do you stay loyal to your beliefs when other people can be complete jackasses to you?
What keeps you standing tall when it seems no one wants to listen.
What color is your underwe...okay never mind that one question..sorry had to add a little humor.

What tools do you use to inform the public and make them aware of what our cause really is about?
Where do you usually hold "town meetings" or what is the best place to hold meetings? Library? city hall? your private residence?

just some stuff i wanted to ask:D

Red and Black like every good Anarcho-Commie. (not lying, really is red and black)

I yell and scream at people. It might not be the best tactic, but I enjoy it.

To me, being a socialist means that I want the workers to seize control. I want them to seize control of the factories, of the fields, of the schools and libraries, of every aspect of the world. I want them to create a new state that will protect this rule of the workers, and that will serve the interests of the workers and of humanity.

Who do I look up to the most? No one anyone here knows. A teacher, and a family friend. I certainly don't idolize or worship any leader, even if I do value their contributions. Even with Marx, who of all the philosophers (or economists or political theorists, or whatever you want to call him) I agree with made the biggest contribution, I think it's ludicrous to think that he discovered and organized to completion the process of history. I definitely do think he found a great kernel of truth, though.

How do I stay loyal to my beliefs? For one, my beliefs don't stem from faith, they stem from my rational understanding. I would imagine that it's a lot harder for a very religious person to keep to their faith when it has no evidence to support it, whereas my political beliefs are almost constantly reaffirmed. Most of my friends are not communists, but they still respect me. Occasionally we get into political arguments, but I am able to defend my beliefs so well that they give up or it ends in a stalemate. It's not because I'm an excellent debater, or because my friends are stupid.

Marxism is omnipotent because it is true.
Occasionally I do have crises, but they're never about the validity of Marxism. They're usually about if humanity has gotten itself entrenched in the totality of capitalism, and will only lead to barbarism. Socialism isn't inevitable.
To me, revolutionary activity isn't about proselytizing. Many of my friends are middle class, and frankly, it doesn't matter whether or not they become communists. Educating people to further class consciousness is crucial, but it's often hard to do, especially when the left is at such a historic low as it is now.

And I'm not wearing underwear.

Printer ink is very valuable in the lifestyle I lead, but flyers are most definitely being considered for when I go back to school this fall.

I shall answer another one:

What keeps you standing tall when it seems no one wants to listen.
I am hardly what would be considered "tall" but what keeps me upright probably consists of some overworked back and core muscles. Other than that, I've face a fair amount of shit in my short life and really we have nothing to lose so why not keep fighting for the best.

What does it truly mean to be a socialist to you?
It means that you want to emancipate the working class.

Who do you mostly look up to?
The working class:D

How do you stay loyal to your beliefs when other people can be complete jackasses to you?
The opinion that others have of me will never change what I believe is right

What keeps you standing tall when it seems no one wants to listen.
The fact that the working class continue to be oppressed and if I give up even in the worst of circumstances then I know that I am just as bad as the capitalists.

What color is your underwe...okay never mind that one question..sorry had to add a little humor.
I can't find enough red.

What tools do you use to inform the public and make them aware of what our cause really is about?
I speak in public. I use social networking sites and recently I held an event... sort of.

Where do you usually hold "town meetings" or what is the best place to hold meetings? Library? city hall? your private residence?
Well I tried to start up a Far Left Discussion Club at my school, but that didn't go over too well.

My belief in socialism stems from my love of people, I want a fair world where people are not exploited in the way they are in the capitalist system, I hope for workers to get what they deserve, they make the system and the world work so they should get the power. In a socialist world we would abolish poverty, everyone is born the same so everyone is equal and this would be true of a socialist world.

The person I look up to most is Che Guevara.

What keeps me "standing tall" about my beliefs is that I am very passionate about it and I don't let other people talk me out of it. They are my beliefs and opinions and I stay true to them.
