Call to Action: Bringing the Antifa Hooliganism Back to the 717
On June 19th, Aryan Nations plans to hold a rally at the Gettysburg National Military Park from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM to spread their racist and anti-Semitic ideology.
According to Wikipedia "Aryan Nations (AN) is a white nationalist neo-Nazi organization founded in the 1970s by Richard Girnt Butler as an arm of the Christian Identity group Church of Jesus Christ-Christian. As of December 2007 there were two main factions that claimed descent from Butler's group. Aryan Nations has been called a 'terrorist threat' by the FBI, and the RAND Corporation has called it the 'first truly nationwide terrorist network' in the USA."
The extreme right has a long standing tradition of holding rallies in Gettysburg. Most recently, in September 2007, an Anti-Racist Action presence chased a few Klansman around the city. Here in PA, we also know the racist influence on our local governments who are debating on creating a bill inspired by Arizona's anti-immigrant law, SB1070. One can find Confederate flags all throughout back roads of rural PA, and one only has to visit the local police station to find the most active Klansmen.
We won't stand idly by as the fascists invade anywhere communities.
ALL OUT AGAINST THE FASCISTS!
KEEP THE 717 NAZI FREE!
