There is/was a similar initiative in southern Sweden, called Kusinerna (the Cousins) who were basically helping ethnic Swedes in trouble. I think that methodology is potentially efficient (Hamas and Hezbollah have used it quite much) and that we should try to learn how to apply voluntary social aid to people in trouble.

BANA has more or less split up I think. They got a pretty decent beating at may day in SF, where those "anarchists" spoke out against immigrant rights.

I was looking for them. I talked to their "leader" a few times online on youtube. Rather unpleasant fellow but when in person he seemed a bit skiddish 5-4 little kiddish type schmuck who was molested a few times at birth. They're all from the Marin County suburbs.

Funny thing is, they're already separate [from other races] over the GG bridge in Marin County which makes this video all the more absurd:

there were actually two anarchists, including one African-American, arrested during the may day confrontation with the National Anarchists. Their arrest happened because the ANSWER/PSL monitors called the police and turned the police on the anarchists. one of the people arrested was himself an immigrant, and this was a threat to his immigration status. fortunately the police let him go, but kept the other two. Last I heard they were facing very high bail.

the "National Anarchists" are to anarchism what "National Socialism" is to socialism. they are a group advocating white separatism, i.e. segregation. I believe they have a socalled Third Position line, similar to the newly formed American Third Position Party, which is trying to get ballot status in California. this is a neo-fascist party similar to the BNP in UK.

This story is true, my friend from MAC in california who is friends with the folks who got pinched was out here visiting when this happend and he got a call about it. ANSWER were the ones to snitch on them.

They don't have anything to do with actual Anarchist Ideas. As I stated in some other thread regarding National Anarchists:



National-Anarchism is a third-positionist permutation developed mainly by ex-NF member Troy Southgate. Ideologically it's very close to the Weimar Conservative Revolutionary movement (Eg. the like of Ernst Junger) and radical Traditionalism.

Their conception of Anarchism revolves around Junger's adaption of Stirnir's "Anarch", the 'sovereign individual'. This 'sovereign individual' is interpreted as the embodiment of the 'natural aristocracy'. Their synthesis of Weimar conservative elitism and Junger's version of the "Anarch" is highly hierarchical.
Most national-anarchists don't reject static hierarchies at all and simply criticise those hierarchies generated by liberal democracy. And for all the wrong reasons too, namely them being 'unnatural' and 'poisonous for the volksgemeinschaft' to name two.
Obviously this core thesis alone is anathema to Anarchism.


Their ideological line is closer to ultra-reactionary ideas like those of Julius Evola, Oswald Splenger and Francis Parker Jockey than any form of anarchism.

Being in favor of decentralisation (and worse, 'Tribalism') doesn't make one an Anarchist.

Also, I recall the BANA having called it quits (http://www.bayareanationalanarchists.com/?p=6) some months ago with their main goon Andrew Yeoman whining about how they aren't getting anywhere with their shitty little troupe of misfits (Golly sir, what a surprise :rolleyes:). Although it seems a few of these losers are active again.

There are several National-Anarchist individuals active within fascist organisations throughout Europe with a prominent far-right activist here in the Netherlands being a self-proclaimed National-Anarchist and a few leading figures in Belgian neo-fascist groups. In Germany some of the 'Autonome Nationalisten' seem to take cues from Southgate's writings and there is some national-anarchist influence amongst the pseudo-intellectuals grouped around the Weimar-Conservative 'Junge Freiheit', which is very popular in Germany's conservative student circles.

All in all I think they're even smaller and less relevant than obscure and exotic movements like the 'Hardline' current within Straight-Edge. Seems to go for National-Anarchists everywhere, save for France perhaps where I recall them having a tad more influence, instead of being condemned to the ultra-irrelevantist niche of teenage fascist angst.

The top BANANA, Andrew Yeoman, was active in the alter-globalization movement in the 1990s. So he thinks because he "bloc'ed up" a few times he can take the tactics he learned and use them to further crypto-fascism. If anything his group should be called "national-primitivists." Which still sound weird.

I can't tell you anything about any other "national anarchist" groups, like the British ones.
